Ultrasonic Localization
Localization is one of the fundamental problems one needs to solve when studying robotics, and achieving accurate localization is often an expensive task. Jamie Cho and I aimed with this project to develop a board which could, with four more of it's kind, localize a board in three dimensional space using ultrasonic pulses.
Each ultrasonic module is designed to be able to both transmit and receive signals from the other boards. Each board has four transceivers which have band pass filters and amplifier circuits for receiving signals and amplifier circuits for producing them. All of the amplifier circuitry fits underneath each of the ultrasonic transceivers.
